A-MAIZE-ING SIGHT
6/10: No trip through the Midwest is complete without a stop at the World’s famous Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD. Not only is it the largest corn palace in the world (apparently Belgium has a similar palace, however made from Apples), but it is the world’s only corn palace…what a shocker?? New murals are made from corn each year with 2006 being a bye year because of the corn draught.
If you’re ever in the middle of South Dakota looking for something to do, you can always pop by the Corn Palace for a rodeo, basketball game, or even a polka dance.
Robin, Whitney, and Hayley are the specks under the 'Salute' banner.

We remember stopping at Mitchell, also remember Grandma Puckett talking about this place.
