(One of the MANY amazing shots we captured)----------------------------------
We were fortunate to see a great deal of the park over a short timeframe, including the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road which is closed to drivers until the beginning of July -owing to a rough season of rockslides and avalanches. Glacier National Park possesses 60 lakes, 30 glaciers, countless waterfalls, and covers over one million acres of land. The park is well known for the indigenous Blackfeet Indians who dominated this area of the Rockies and aggressively defended and controlled the bison supply in the area. The Blackfeet Indians continue to preserve their culture throughout the year with various special events.
Today was incredible and now that we arrived in Banff, Canada for the next few days, do you think we can match or exceed Glacier? Eh, you betcha!

Wade, the site is great and the pictures are fantastic. Glad the RV is fixed and the bathroom is "working" again. I was surprised that you didn't call me for my plumbing expertise! ha. Love the "guzzle-meter" updates as well. Say hello to Robin for me. Keep the stories coming.
Your pictures are amazing. Glad that you went up and down safely. Riding a helicopter is not my idea of fun (says grandma). Poppa thinks otherwise.
What did the girls think of the ride?
